10:00 After breakfast meeting with local guide and transfer to Gobustan. Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape is a hill and mountain site occupying the southeast end of the Greater Caucasus mountain ridge in Azerbaijan, mainly in the basin of Jeyrankechmaz River, between the rivers Pirsagat and Sumgait. It is located west of the settlement of Gobustan, about 40 miles (64 km) southwest of the center of Baku on the west bank of the Caspian Sea. Gobustan is very rich in archaeological monuments. The reserve has more than 6,000 rock engravings dating back between 5,000 - 40,000 years. The site also features the remains of inhabited caves, settlements and burials, all reflecting an intensive human use by the inhabitants of the area during the wet period that followed the last Ice Age, from the Upper Paleolithic to the Middle Ages. The site, which covers an area of 537 ha, is part of the larger protected Gobustan Reservation. Most of the rock engravings depict primitive men, animals, battle-pieces, ritual dances, bullfights, and boats with armed oarsmen, warriors with lances in their hands, camel caravans, pictures of sun and stars. 13:00 After Gobustan tour transfer to Shamakhi. 09:00, after breakfast meeting with local guide and departure to Sheki. Shamakhi was first mentioned as Kamachia by the ancient Greco-Roman Egyptian geographer Claudius Ptolemaeus in the 1st to 2nd century CE. Shamakhi was an important town during the Middle Ages and served as a capital of the Shirvanshah realm from the 8th to 15th centuries. In its history eleven major earthquakes have rocked Shamakhi, but through multiple reconstructions it maintained its role as the economic and administrative capital of Shirvan and one of the key towns on the Silk Road. The only building to have survived eight of the eleven earthquakes is the landmark Juma Mosque of Shamakhi, built in the 10th century. On the way, visit Diri Baba mausoleum in Maraza village. Continue to Shamakha and have a sightseeing of historical Juma Mosque, Yeddi Gumbez Mausoleum, and the Shirvan Shah's family grave yard. Transfer to Ismayilly region. Baskal. It’s the local silk factory where you would see all details of handmade silk products. Transfer to hotel in Sheki.

Meeting with local guide and transfer to Sheki. Spring is beautiful with the once-brown mountains turning green from the rain. Caravansarai, . This building was constructed by the Sheki Khans to house caravans as they passed through on the Silk Road to and from China. This was one of 5 such stops in Azerbaijan during the 18th and 19th centuries, and was the biggest caravanserai on the Silk Road in the entire Transcaucasus region. To this day, it still serves as a place for travellers to stay and eat, and also as a place where one can simply admire its beautiful architecture. Khansarai (Palace of the Sheki Khans), (on the upper main historical monument reserve), this palace, along with the Caravansarai, is one of Sheki's true must-sees. During the city's period of independence as the Sheki Khanate, Khan Hussein constructed the palace, its gardens, and fortifications to serve as the summer palace of the Sheki Khans. The palace is exquisite, inside and out, and the courtyard boasts panoramic views of the city and the surrounding mountain forests. Silk Factory (İpək Kombinat). Sheki, in addition to being on the Silk Road, has itself been a major silk producer over the past four centuries, and is famous for its various silk products. Sheki's silk factory is about a 15 minute walk from the center of town. It is quite difficult to gain entrance into the factory. There is a store adjoining the factory where vendors sell very fine silk items. You would find moderate price items at the bazaar and private souvenir shops in "Khansarai" Juma Mosque (Juma Məscid), this picturesque mosque has a 40m spire, from which you will hear the resounding call to prayer 5 times a day. It was built from 1745-1750 and is decorated with exquisite geometric designs. Excursion to the Kish village. In Kish village living Albanian people, they’re ancient Caucasian people. This people have different kind of traditions. Also in this village located the first Christian church in the Caucasus, which was built in the time of the Albanian Empire (I Century AD). In Kish village also located an ancient defensive fortress “Gelersen – Gorersen”, which translated means "You will come and see." Also, there is a bust of the world famous traveler Thor Heyerdahl. Transfer to Republican Equestrian Tourism Center. Here you would see Arabian, English and Akhal Teke type of horses. Dinner in restaurant Departure to Baku Check in in Baku
