VISA – is the official document providing legal origin to foreigners and stateless persons:
- For entrance to the country;
- For temporarily staying in the country during the period stated in their visas;
- For leaving the country during the same period stated in their visas.
A visa is required for most foreigners travelling to Azerbaijan.
VISA FEE
According to the Law “On State fees” foreigners and stateless persons coming to the Republic of Azerbaijan should pay visa fees for obtaining a visa. Azerbaijan Visa fees indicated on the electronic display boards can be easily acquainted by visitors at the International Airports of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
VISA FREE REIME
In accordance with the Migration Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan visa free regime applies to the foreigners and stateless persons entering the Republic of Azerbaijan in case of an international agreement concluded with foreign countries as well as in the cases specified by the relevant executive authority.
90 days visa free regime applies to the following countries: Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan.

ASAN VİSA
Starting from 10 th January 2017, the State Agency on Public Services and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan will begin to process electronic visas through “ASAN Visa” system. E-visa is issued within 3 (three) working days, it will be valid for 30 days and the fee for it is 20$.
Foreigners and stateless persons can get detailed information about and apply for electronic visas at www.evisa.gov.az
Electronic visas will be issued only to nationals of countries listed below.
